Sheng pu'er tea blended with wild crassicolumna sheng and hinoki cypress oil.
The best sheng pu’er in the world has a heavy sense of place, a way of transporting us to a forest, a mountaintop, a place from our memories. This blend takes a delicate approach, letting the Dongsa Cooperative’s wild-foraged sheng pu’er speak for itself. We’ve added just a touch of near-tea-relative Camellia Crassicolumna for its deep woody spice, and a bit of Hinoki Cypress oil to help amp up this pu’er natural notes of deep forest.

Hot Brew
Use 5g of tea for a mug, or 7g for a pot. Use filtered water or spring water if it is available - you’ll end up with sweeter and more aromatic tea. Bring your water to a full boil, and brew the tea for about three minutes. Enjoy!
Cold Brew
Use 7g of tea per liter of water. Use cold filtered water if possible, and seal the tea and water in a non-reactive jug. Refrigerate for 12 hours or more, strain and enjoy. Don’t worry about taking out the leaves. Drink within four days.
Flash Chill
Use 7g of leaf for an 8oz vessel. Brew with filtered boiling water for a full five minutes for an extra strong tea. Pour into a cocktail shaker full of ice and shake. Pour out into two glasses full of ice and enjoy flash chilled iced tea. -
Our blends are carefully hand-blended in small batches and sealed in 25g bags as soon as they are blended for optimum freshness.
For best flavor, enjoy within 18 months of the blend date on the bag. Store in the original packaging if possible, out of direct light, or excessive heat and humidity.

We take sourcing seriously. We source all looseleaf teas - hand-picked and hand finished from small family farms in China - by partnering with Verdant Tea for the freshest finest teas in the world as the base to our blends.
Our herbs are all organic certified, locally sourced whenever possible, with an emphasis on labor and environmental practices. We believe that the best tasting herbs are the ones produced in the healthiest way for you, the producer, and the planet.
Our essential oils are naturally-extracted by small distillers from the finest botanicals.
We never use “flavoring” - either natural or artificial - and we never use coloring. We believe that tea blends should stand on their own merits and be allowed to express subtle natural notes. We achieve this without flavoring shortcuts.
